If having it be the case means stations have to change format to "smooth
jazz", then clearly there is an excellent reason why it shouldn't be.
I was sitting out the "smooth jazz" debates here, but this weekend,
I was more or less accidentally exposed to a double dose of the stuff.
By all that's holy, "smooth jazz" is *awful*. The jackhammers that wake
me up at 9 am have more variety, emotional punch, and harmonic movement
than that kind of overproduced, underconsidered pap.
