I'm with you on your comments about Clear Channel. Not only have they ruined the Classic Rock station in my market, they've basically turned the local Smooth Jazz station into the same thing! Among the "smooth jazz" tunes on their playlist: "Hole In My Heart", Phil Collins "Minute By Minute", Michael McDonald "What's Love Got To Do With It?", Tina Turner and the one that really cracks me up: "True" by Spandau Ballet Not that there's anything wrong with those songs (well, except for "True", which calls for an instant station change), but when that cola-nut guy (Geoffrey Holder) comes on and says "that's Smooooooth Jaaaazz", I always shout back: "No it's not!", and then look around to see if anybody else stuck in rush hour heard me.
