In future I shall know better than > to attempt links that are beyond me. Smooth jazz is a radio format. It is very popular. I played a gig with a smooth jazz guy last year named Chris Standring. He is actually a very fine player. The gig was very well attended and a big success [$$$]. Smooth jazz is also known as adult instrumental contemporary or something. It's actually an R&B thing, not jazz.
