Where did Jazz FM Go ???

You are tuned into a radio station and think is this Melody or
Heart 106.2? Surprise, surprise it's Jazz FM on 102.2 !
Old soul, mainly done to death 1970's tunes. Sinatra, Average
White Band! Maybe this is the 'Average White Music Station'?
Whatever happened to any form of eclectic Jazz mix of sounds.
This station sounds about as 'Funky' as the music in your local
supermarket ! Have they sold off all their records to pay for
the operating deficit ? Or is the Chief accountant or the CEO
writing the play list? Perhaps they have to as they sold of the
records ! If one listens to the CD's produced by Jazz FM and
listen to the station is easy to think that they have gone off
the air and have been replaced by Melody FM !
There goes Craig David and Sting. Perhaps I have tuned into
Virgin Atlantic Radio in error ???
A while back Jazz FM went through a smooth jazz stage and could
be called Sax FM but that was surely better than the sounds of
the supermarket that are coming out of the radio now.
