Just some ideas/questions.
Where do you keep your ball in your stance for your various irons? (Maybe they
could go back farther).
How are you in chipping and other shots with less than a full swing?
Have you seen your swing on video? Has a pro described your swing to you? A
video from behind the ball can help you determine whether you are over the top.
A video from in front of you can let you see how long you delay straightening up
your wrist cock. You might want to play with getting your wrist cock almost
floppy at the top, and then not letting your swing straighten it up until the
last moment.
(I'm high handicap, but have been practicing in front of the camera over 4 times
per week for the last 3 months with a pro - my swing is getting much better and
I see things I didn't see before. It doesn't mean I'm qualified for good advice
- but without seeing your swing, who is?)
