Gershwin Lyric Question

I have a question re: a lyric in the song "Strike up the Band" as heard in "My
One and Only" OBCR.
It goes something like..."get in line Yea Bo...come along lets go." What is
Yea Bo? A character in the show? Period slang for something like My Brothers?
I don't know If I am spelling it correctly as I have no lyric sheet. I just
got the cd, a little late, and am still in the obsessive listening phase. I
have always liked the songs and am enjoying this particular recording- except
for 'Yea Bo".
