For the most part, I'd agree with you on that, Irene. But there's at least one song that I think is just the opposite... the lyric really holds together and the music seems to fall apart. It's an obscure little song they wrote called "Whoever you are, I love you" (aka "Sometimes your eyes look blue to me"). I think the lyric deserves a new setting. Don't know if you know it, but it's a great lyric, IMO. Of course, the fact that the music doesn't work too well may explain why it's still an obscure little song. ;^) -- James
