She was apparently a guest star. I'm not a viewer of L & O so I can't be of
much help there.
She was a young, blonde actress who was shot to death in the face here in NYC
some weeks ago by a man she had recently broken up with. Her mother arrived at
the scene right after it happened, just in time to see the man shoot himself.
Miss Benson died at the hospital about a day or so later.
There is a second Lyric Benson, who is actor Robby Benson's daughter. She is
about the same age as the deceased girl and has also done some acting.
If you do a search on Lyric Benson at Google News, you should find articles
about the deceased girl.
