A few random thoughts regarding the new site:
1. It's better than the old one (although the bar was admittedly very
low);
2. What's the point of listing all the new shows as being sold out?
That's just ridiculous. I know that Ottawa was the only Canadian
sellout thus far, as of Monday, GA's were still available for
Edmonton. If I'm a casual fan and a show was in my city/region, and I
see the sold out notice, am I even going to try for tickets? Probably
not. But, if tix were available, and a link, I may take a look. This
bugs me.
3. The alphabetized song list is a nice reference, even if it only
contains officially released tracks. Even nicer is that each title is
an active link to the lyrics.
4. The lyric search is also good. I like that you can access the
whole song from here, not just the snippet they give you.
5. Over time, it would be nice to have a historical record of the
shows/setlists from each tour. Given the emphasis placed on his live
performances, this would be fitting. Also, a listing of the songs he
has performed live, but not (officially) recorded would also be of
value to fans of all levels.
There's more, but I gotta go, so I guess this is enough for now.
