Agreed, but it does happen to me in other tunes. The lyric, the music something will detract from the overall tune. That's the risk with YES music. They try alot of different things and when it works, it's irreplacable. When it doesn't, well... "You've got a great imagination" OYE (song starts out strong and then in comes JA's little contribution - just doesn't fit) The screechy guitar during the last third of Going for the One...there are days when I can let it go, but other days it's like fingernails on a chalkboard. "diamond chair" lyric, "ego some pleasure time" lyric and more on ITPO really detract from what musically and mood wise is one of their best in years. Still like the tune, but wish JA could have done bit better on the lyrics. Then there are tunes that they have overextended in recent years. Think it's an attempt to create epics out of sub-epic material (Mind Drive and Dreamtime being the biggest disappointments. The material is there for shorter, more dynamic versions of both songs). Pet peeve of course, any time they try to use an opening coda. ;) Jim
