identify songs, please?

The description of the third song I would like help in identifying somehow
got cut off from my earlier message. Must have been pilot errot.

The third song is about a country and western singer who tries to sell one
of his compositions to a music agent (or company?). He's told that the song
is well written and tuneful, but that they won't buy it because it "won't
sell because he hasn't included the words mama, pickup truck, horse,
gun-rack, honky-tonk, bible, etc., etc., etc. in the lyrics." He re-writes,
and then sings the revised song, which now includes all those, and other
words essential to typical country songs, and makes the sale.
