[Poll] / [O/T] Does the music you listen to influence what you wear?

Hi all,
I don't know if this subject has already been done to death (apologies if it
has) but I was curious to know if the music you listen to influences how you
dress on a day to day basis?
I listen to a wide range of stuff - 80's, EBM, Metal, Industrial,
Gabba...etc and I draw influence from all of these genres in one way or
another. What I pull out of my wardrobe is *usually* in response to what
I've been listening to the most.
Saying that, the problems I have are:
a) Sticking to one type of music & the appearance it has been associated
with
b) Finding a way to incorporate elements of each successfully, without
looking stupid.
c) Not looking like a total chameleon or someone who's used the dreaded
"just-add-water" method to look 'goth'.
I just like too many damned things to commit to one look so I'm kinda stuck
at the mo :o(
So how about you? Do you feel that musical taste is a blessing or a burden
when it comes to fashion - or couldn't you care less about it? Does anyone
else have these problems too?....
