What happened to a good old I-IV-V blues structure in 4/4 time? Who needs 9/11 time and lyrical references to goblins or whatever? Who said good music can't have a catchy chorus? I get dicked off by purists who say *real music* has to be complex in order to be meaningful. Listen to "In My Life" by the Beatles; a simple melody but a very moving song. Overall, a perfect construction. Compare and contrast with any side of the four-side "Tales from Topographic Oceans" by Yes. Never forget the official world's most boring man, snooker champ Steve Davis's, fave band was the obscure European prog band Magma.
