RAHE, I, personally think most live music (rock concerts) sucks. Some outdoor concerts, the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, the Uptown theater now closed (KCMO) notwithstanding. The only live album or concert I ever thought sounded good was the Eagles, but they can't ever sound bad. They always seem to crank the bass like the guy in a low rider Honda Civic. keithw... This may be because of room acoustics, because the | microphones used have a rising treble response, because the recording was | equalized, or for many other reasons. One result is added bite and | focus. Another result can be listening fatigue. | | Mike Prager (email-address-deleted) | Beaufort, North Carolina
