My impression is that almost all PA and hi-fi systems reproduce music with
accentuated treble. This may be because of room acoustics, because the
microphones used have a rising treble response, because the recording was
equalized, or for many other reasons. One result is added bite and
focus. Another result can be listening fatigue.
