unable to get music cd to play

Having problems lately burning cds, when I am able to burn
a music cd, cannot get it to play. copy program gives
message that cd has been burned successfully. Have gone
to my computer but no response. would appreciate any
help. Have Media player 9 and windows xp. using copy
program from acoustica. Also have Roxio cd#5, but having
difficulties with both. thanks
