Hi! I'm a huge fan of ELP (IMO Keith Emerson's the greatest rock keyboardist, period! :). I had almost given up on piano playing, when I by coincidence started fiddling with the Tarkus piece. Suddenly I was rediscovering ELP and progrock in general, and started practising other pieces like Triology, Pebble, Enigma etc... Now I need more!!! :-) I'm just blown away with this music. What a genious Keith Emerson was back in the 70s, when he did this stuff. There just isn't anything remotely like this ever done since. Thankfully I practiced a lot of classical technique when I was young, because this stuff is quite challenging... Anyway, ASAIK there is just three sheet music books out, tarkus, anthology and greatist hits. I have these, but many of the best pieces are missing, like "live in sin", "piano concerto", "piano improvisations" and the entire brain salad surgury (and triology) album. It's pretty absurd that this incredible music hasn't been released officially. It must be a goldmine.. If anyone knows if these pieces actually have been released on sheet notes/note books, I would be very, very grateful! I've noticed there are some midi-files of elp's music out there, but the quality may vary. If someone knows which midi-files (web-link?) is best suited for priting and using the notes to learn the pieces, it would be great! Thanks! you can reach my personally at: email-address-deleted
