That guy mcdgi, who ever he is, is IMHO right on when he wrote; "Any vibrant, growing music art form is going to see new styles, techniques, etc emerge, and this sometimes won't set well with traditionalists. To borrow a phrase from someone else, I think the issue is truth in advertising." To assume the style of piping has to stay in a fitted mold will only cause it to stagnate. Of course there are people who will overuse and bodger a new style, but that shouldn't stop someone who is a gifted musician from expermenting with new ideas. Look at what the Wicked Tinkers have done. Cheers Don -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM!
