I was very excited to learn of a new resource. The New York Philharmonic site now has some marvelous lessons for both the home and classroom. See http://www.symphonyworks.net/takenote/ At http://www.symphonyworks.net/takenote/ you will find the following excellent lessons: Pathways to the Orchestra - Part 1 Pathways to the Orchestra - Part 2 Pulcinella and the Haydn Trumpet Concerto Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony Vivaldi's Double Cello Concerto Orchestration in Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov Visit http://www.nyphilkids.org/main.phtml where you will be connected to the Musician's Lounge, Composers' Gallery, Instrument Laboratory and Composer's Workshop.
