Boards been kind of slow lately, so.....
Has anyone picked up any good new music lately?
My last five:
THE SOUNDS: Living In America
I think they are a Danish group. Pretty cool stuff. Female lead singer.
Kind of a garage Blondie.

(LONDON) SUEDE: A New Morning
The are often given the credit of starting Britpop. I think they are a
little more glamy than most Britpop bands were. Good album, but it's no Dog
Man Star.
THE CORAL: The Coral
Lot of hype about this band, but I like it. Mod, soul, psychadelic, it's
all here. Sample some songs here:

THE LIBERTINES: Up The Bracket
Produced by Joe Strummer. Good english melodic punk. Mats fans would
probably like it.

STARSAILOR: Love Is Here
Caused some commotion in the UK a couple of years ago when this came out. I
just caught onto it. Kind of like the Verve, but not as meandering and
psychadelic. Songs and videos here:

I want to pick up the new Idlewild, has anyone heard that yet? They are
coming to town soon and I'd like to check them out.
later,
Trace
