<<I went to a concert last night by two other propular "classic rock" bands--REO Speedwagon and Styx. Although I was actually there more to see REO, I was VERY impressed by Styx. The band was very cohesive and played--get this--not one,not two, but four new songs from their new CD. Amazing! Anyway, the original point of my post is this: how long can these bands continue to milk the fans dry, touring over and over again with the same old show and the same 15 songs, before we finally say, "Enough!"? If this is the way everybody feels, the bands will eventually get the message.... Just my two cents' worth.... Will Mercer>> Will: I quite agree with you. Add Cheap Trick to that list. They have been promising us new songs since 1999, and nothing except a greatest hits CD. At least ticket wise, they're not in the same league as the Eagles and Kiss. As for REO, they put out a CD a couple of yrs ago, which had new music on it. And they used them in concert for a bit. At least it gave us REO fans something!! Caryle Johnson
