PLEASE help, trying to identify a song

There's a classic rock song that I've heard on the radio many times, but the
DJs never say who sings it. I am going to attempt to describe it in words
here. If this doesn't work, I am going to post a link to an mp3 of me
singing parts of it.
Anyway, the song is pretty long and has a very long solo section. During the
solo section, it breaks into this snare riff that almost sounds like a
march. And then somewhere down the line, it begins to repeat the lyrics
"come on, come on, come on, hey baby. come on, come on, come on."
Anyway, during lyrics earlier in the song, it kinda sounds like Steven
Tyler, but people tell me its not Aerosmith (yet they can't tell me who
sings the song).
