Need Help Sourcing Song

Hi All:
I am trying to "source" a song I was recently given. It is a version
of the old standard "Honky Tonk". (Not "Honky Tonk Song", the old c/w
standard, but rather the instrumental made most famous by Bill
Doggett.) This verson starts out slow, with a narration that refers
to a club in Houston and also to the "Push" and "Whip", then breaks
loose into an awesome shuffle. The person who gave it to me
identified the artist as "Johnny Williams", yet I have been unable to
locate the song under an artist by that name.
I always like to know the original source of any song I play. Does
anyone out there know this song, and if so, who is it by and where
does it come from? With that opening narration, I have to believe it
has been played in Texas by someone out there. Any help would be
appreciated!
