I was in a record store a few years ago and I saw this Dolly CD in the bargain bin.... it was her pop LP "Rainbow"...... which is out of print... anyway I bought it and for the most part it's "junk" and full of songs she didn't write. However there was a beautiful love song she DID write....... "More Than I Can Say". Yes, it's a pop song, but the lyrics are sheer romantic poetry and I thought it would have been a better song for Whitney than "I Will Always Love You". Anyway "More Than I Can Say" is a big favorite of mine. One other favorite is another Dolly original, this time, from the HEARTSONGS CD. And the track is "PMS Blues". It's one of the funniest songs I have ever heard and only Dolly could have pulled it off. "But someday I'm sure you're gonna know the cost..... that for everything you win there's something lost." - Bob McDill and Dan Seals. "Murder's been committed down on Music Row." - Larry CORDLE & Larry SHELL.
