And one thing I forgot to mention in my previous post:
Anison *DOES NOT* only stand for anime songs. It can also be found in
all tokusatsu shows and many video games. Again, Anison *does not*
only mean anime music. That's why it's a completely unique genre of
music.
I know such real fans of Anison. I know a guy from Argentina who's got
several hundreds of Mizuki's songs, all of Eizou Sakamoto's, and many
of Akira Kushida, Hironobu Kageyama, Masaaki Endou, JAM Project, MIO,
Hiroshi Kitadani, Hideaki Takatori, Shinichi Ishihara, Yukio Yamagata,
Isao Sasaki, Isao Taira, Takayuki Miyauchi, Mitsuko Horie, Mojo, Rica
Matsumoto, as well as many videos of these singers. Of course, he says
he's got Anison music, and not J-pop.
