So there's some kind of serial management system so you can't just pay .99 and then feed all your friends MP3 players. I haven't tried ripping a CD yet. Maybe that counts as a copystrike, I don't know. I do my online shopping on my studio G4. Then I use iSync to transfer the tunes to both my iPod and my PowerBook. So there's really not much chance I'll totally lose any of my purchased music. As to what happens when I want to move stuff to a 4th computer or when I retire one device and want to move my tunes to another, I don't know - haven't tried it yet. Maybe you need to cough up another $.99 if you want to feed three MORE devices. For right now, it seems a pretty well thought out system and the REAL strength is that it's FAST in both searches and downloads. I even had a download crap out in mid-album on my first day. Next time I logged into my "purchased music" library the first thing the software did was re-initiate the download and complete my previous purchase. IMO, Apple got a whole lot of this stuff RIGHT the first time. -- Bill Davis NewVideo -----= Posted via Newsfeeds.Com, Uncensored Usenet News =----- http://www.newsfeeds.com - The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! -----== Over 80,000 Newsgroups - 16 Different Servers! =-----
