Alan that's interesting that you would put that MJ lyric at the end. Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' is one of my ALL-TIME favorite MJ songs. He was inspired when he came up with that part. Well he was inspired when he came up with this whole damn song! But the way most of the song was sung attitudinal & all & then this affirmation/declarational part that you put at the end here....It was totally different from how the rest of the lyric part was formed. Feels phoenix-like. And you know what gets me the most? I have heard that Michael, that unceasable perfectionist, still wasn't satisfied with how this song came out. He didn't feel that he expressed everything he wanted in the song. Whew coulda fooled me! Everything from the rhythm to the percussion to the funny delivery of those lyrics to the "Mama-se mama-sa mama-ku-sa Help me sang it!"..EVERYTHING was top-notch! Wonder why he didn't see the song for what it is. It's one of his masterpieces. Anyway just had to comment on that. I know that wasn't what this post was supposed to be about.
