... its hard to believe its just railing against injustice or a hard life
when you were young; that may work for awhile but after the rappers hit the
bigtime it really sounds hollow - there is someone on stage who arrived in a
Limo, surrounded by assorted lovelies and hangers-on, wearing gold &
jewelry, who has just incorporated themselves(gotta have those taxbreaks)
and with diamonds in their teeth ranting about how bad it is in the 'hood?
...... sorry I just don't buy it - it's all about selling attitude and
hostility because thats what the younger generation will shell out money
for!
When the money dries up hopefully all the bad parts of rap will die out too
but I doubt it.
