Knowing Ray, what he really meant was that the two ways to play music were
the wrong way and HIS way. (Anyone who's watch him meat-grind a bass
player on the bandstand knows what I mean.) And "his way" involves a
rather noxious mixture of Bols Gin and coffee.
Incidentally, Ray also claims to have invented rap music.
