Boy Draven several here for me to address >3. House of the Rising Son - The Animals Considered more an "oldies" staple than "classic rock." Have heard it on classic rock stations occasionally but not like contemporaries of theirs like the Beatles and Stones. >5. Mr. Crowley - Ozzy Osborn Nope. A bit too metal to really fit. I'm sure you're right in calling it a classic. Haven't really listened to Ozzy. But not "classic rock" in this particular sense. >6. London Calling - The Clash Not really sure of this one. Have heard it many times on the radio but not sure what kind of station. Would expect it in a format heavier than "classic rock" though >9. Anarchy in the UK - Sex Pistons Haven't heard much of this but same basic expectations as far as dial position. >10. Season of the Witch - Donovan Haven't really heard this ANYWHERE. But Donavon tends to be more oldies turf than classic rock in my experince. >And an honorable mention because they never give the props they deserve > >Last Caress by the Misfits WOW. Is this ever out in left field? Not knocking the song or the band. But if I heard this on a classic rock station, I'd probably drop dead of shock. Metal station sure. A station that prides itself on its electica sure. But classic rock? I can't really see it.
