Just for a bit of fun, I tried to imagine what the ultimate rock band would
be like and who would be in it. This is what I came up with:
Roine Stolt (Flower Kings) - Guitar, synthesizer, primary songwriting duties
Tatsuya Yoshida (Ruins) - Drums, percussion, background vocals
Jack Lancaster (Brand X) - Saxophone, songwriting
Ian Bairnson (Keats) - Bass, mandolin, lyrics
Mauro Pagani (PFM) - Vocals, flute, violin
Neil Tennant (Pet Shop Boys) - Vocals
Jurgen Fritz (Triumvirat) - Keyboards
There you have it. The ultimate rock'n'roll septet. Members are from Sweden,
Japan, UK, UK, Italy, UK, and Germany, respectively. Their album would be
produced by Eddie Offord and Don Azzaro, with cover art by Wayne Barlowe.
