Ronnie Van Zant (and his brother Johnny) Greg Allman Janis Joplin Loved Janis...Ah I see the southern rock element here ;) =A0 How bout '38 Special'?? Saw them many times with another southern rock band known as Molly Hatchet.. Hums : "Flirting with Disaster" And I know they aren't rock and roll but.... Patsy Cline Marvin Gaye Kewl, I dig MoTown when I aint rockin, Jazz & Blues too.. ~Rich~ =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D I just bought a 3 CD boxed set of Janis with a alot of unreleased music. I'm in heaven right now. I love those Southern guys too! And I love Motown. My kids think I'm weird. They tell me to move into this century. I can't help it. The stuff they listen to is filled with ugliness and violence. CRAP! I'm a die-hard Aerosmith fan, Zeppelin fan as well. I'm helplessly stuck in the 70's !! Also I am major Doors fan, something about Jim Morrison & company that always hooks me into the groove.... =A0 =A0 'lets swim to the moon' uh-huh . =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D I love those guys too! I actually got to go see Bob Dylan back in October. The auditorium was at about 1/3 capacity and we had wonderful seats. It's good to know that I'm not alone in the world. One good thing, the minute I turn on the stereo the house empties out real fast.
