To be fair, it's not just the fact that they used fireworks, but they didn't ask permission to do so and they didn't check to see if the building was cleared for use of such devices. (It wasn't, in case you couldn't guess.) What's at fault here isn't the music or the art of rock 'n' roll, but it does seem from what I heard that the band, as people, are primarily responsible for the tragedy, due to irresponsibility. No one said they shouldn't be able to use pyrotechnics in their act ever -- just not in small confined spaces that are totally unsafe, without even asking first. --Sean http://www.livejournal.com/users/spclsd223/
