Here is all the happenings for the evening.......
Vocal Performance of Arabic Music by
Zein Al-Jundi
with
The Saadi M'nawwar Band
(working on all kind of new music we have not done before including some more
original music composed by our wonderful guitar/oud player, Husam
Saiid.....Saadi and the guys from Dallas will be also joined by Hani Issa and
Muhammad El Masri from Houston who play regularly with The Trans Arabian Sound
band)
Bellyadance Showcase by
Bint El Balad Ensemble
with guest dancers
Bahia (from Austin) & Farida (from Houston)
(this promises to be the best Bellydance Showcase we have ever
presented......we are delighted to have the two best solo dancers in Austin &
Houston (this is the first time we have both of them perform in the same
night). Bint El Balad Ensemble will premier our new piece (choreographed Zein
Al-Jundi) The Ensemble will also showcase brand new costumes, which we have
designed and had made in Egypt.
A Middle Eastern Dinner will be catered by Austin's brand new Arabic
restaurant,
The Pyramid
And of course.....
The Arabic Bazaar
will be presented for your shopping pleasures and to complete the cultural
experience of an Arabic event.
