Hi
My sexy music tastes are generally not Western style music, and
therefore not my partner's choice. So, sex for us is usually without
music.
Having said that, music can definately put me in a sensual frame of
mind. I prefer Arabic and tribal rhythms with haunting lyrics and
melody. When I'm alone (and no one can critisise my music choice) I
dance and give my body to the music. It gives me a feeling of having a
combination of meditation and contacting my sexual self. You
mentioned "Dead can Dance" earlier - yes, that's my type of music.
Arabic fusion in general. At the moment I'm playing a CD called
Eternal Egypt by Phil Thornton and Hossam Ramzy. The Land of the
Pharaohs with it's haunting trance rhythms is mesmerising. Amazon.com
have samples
Happy to discuss other Arabic/tribal fusion music with anyone who may
share my taste. :-)
cheers, Robyn
