Unfortunately, I don't understand Arabic, so I can't really take the
lyrics into consideration. (Translations don't help that much, and
the ones I can find are usually pretty poorly done. But it's
important to know exactly what *word* is being sung, if you are going
to focus on the relationship between the singing and the meaning of
the words; so I can't generally do that.)
Not knowing Arabic is obviously a handicap in this case, but there is
plenty of Arabic music I do enjoy, so it's not an insurmountable
obstacle.
