"Ana Fe Entezarak" does some really weird (almost in the old-fashioned
occult meaning of the word) stuff about 20 minutes into the recording. Oum Kalthoum and her ensemble all sound as though they are really
going *out*. I can't say that I go into a trance when I hear it
(unfortunately), but my attention is subtly shifted in an odd way,
even if I start out not paying a lot of attention to the song. I love
when the musicians sort of circle around quietly while she improvises
vocally.
