Another Amr Diab album has come out and just like many people I grudgingly bought it. Although not as good as Tamally Maak, this album was far better then his last offering (Ana Akter Waheed). The first song in the album, Alem Galby, when I first listen to it was very nice it seemed upbeat and a break from the usual Spanish/Latin beats (that have, I am sorry to say, been done to death!) the fact that it had a very clear RnB flavour to it stood out and I thought this would be a redeeming quality of the album. The next song Ana Ayesh, was very nice but again it seemed very similar to the first song. Gally El-Wadaa' was the next song and I was now becoming bored because they all up, until then sounded the same, very RnB and the lyrics weren't exactly the best in the world, not a touch on Tamally Maak or Amarain or even Ana Akter Waheed. Ya Kenzy, was next it is one of those annoying songs that Amr always puts in his album like Keda Einy Einak in Tamally Maak and Ahebik Akrahik in Ana Akter Waheed, so I didn't listen to that one and then I moved on to the next one. WOW Tegder Tetkalim is Amr at his best, he usually puts a very slow ballad in all his albums, as can be seen in Baateref in Tamally Maak and Sadagny Khalas in Ana Akter Waheed, and I have to say Tegdar Tetkalim is beautiful. Law Ashgany is the next track and just when it was going well, he spoils it with this mediocre offering; it is very reminiscent of Ana Akter Waheed (which I might add I never really liked). Alemny Hawak moves back to the RnB theme of the album, but has a jazz twist to it, so it was a break from the usual theme of strictly RnB. Habeebi Ya Omry is a very nice song; it is very traditional and reminded (I know it's sacrilegious to say) me of the songs by Oum Kulthoum, it was very strong in its lyrical content and the music. Inta Ma Goltesh, was a very nice offering it was a clash of western beats and Arabic strings I thought. Hannait is next and again we move back to the RnB theme, its not exactly the best song on the album but is it tolarable (not like Ya Kenzy). Kolohum is a very nice song, it is like Betuwahashny is Amarain, it has a strong chorus and the lyrics go very well with the music. Khaleeni Janbak, I think is going to be a big hit it has strong beats to it the lyrics are very catchy and I am sure many people will be singing it. Overall it is better then the last album (Ana Akter Waheed) but not as good as Tamally Maak, I don't personally think Amr will ever be able to produce an album as good as Tamally Maak.
