Hi everyone, Blind just did a great series of concerts and had a blast of a May. A warm thank you to all the ectos & others that supported our last 4 gigs! A friend in an amazing project is putting on a most wonderful evening this Friday night. All ectos in the SF area, if you love female vocalists, eclectic singers, world music or jazz, you must come to this intimate evening of some of the best musicians in the bay area, all performing together!! I told him how loyal Ectos were and told him I would put out the word. These are MAJOR players/musicians all joining Matthew of Ancient Future, because he is making a video that night. It's a small lovely hall in Marin and promises to be a great night. Four different acts/hours for $20! If you are a bay area Ecto and have not seen Irina Mikhailova, you gotta go. She is a beautiful Russian woman, several albums out, one of the most interesting female singers in the bay area (besides me, Julia and Noe, of course, tee hee) with all the vocalizations of Bulgarian Women's Choir, Charming Hostess style, etc... she bills her part of the evening as "Slavic Trance"...need I say more. Come out and support this great gathering of talent and have yourself a wonderful concert! Anyone coming from the list please find me (the redheaded door girl) and I will give them a free copy of my peace song, currently on KPFA, called Eye for an Eye just for getting your butt out to N. Bay! thanks, cyoakha grace PLANET JAMMIN' FESTIVAL JUNE 6 ========================== PLANET JAMMIN' FESTIVAL See 4 Ancient Future Bands ========================== This is the most outrageous Ancient Future concert EVER, so please be sure to tell everyone you know about this one!
