Herb Ohta (Ohta San)

I have an old LP containing a beautiful,easy listening music by Herb
Ohta. The name of the album is Song For Anna. It also included another
famous french song - Love is blue. I have not heard this group since.
I am curious to know what happened to this group? Where is this group
now, or are they still making musical albums?
In one of the message in the newsgroup, someone mentioned a connection
with Hawaiian music. The name of the group (Ohta San) sounds Japanese.
Any information would be helpful.
