Well, as others have noted, the reggae-tinted stuff is more a genre of Hawaiian music than representative of the entirety of "modern Hawaiian music." If you liked having KCCN available at your desk, though, don't forget KINE: http://hawaiian105.com/ Live Audio Link (Chaincast): http://www.streamaudio.com/listen/cox.asp?station=KINE_FM KINE's playlist is probably closer to the definition of Hawaiian music than KCCN -- it skews a little more toward the traditional. Personally, I wish KHUI -- the newest station at 99.5 -- had a website with playlists and live audio. At times it's a little strange, but their playlist is ... well, usually more "gentle" (and for corporate purposes works pretty good as Hawaiian Muzak). And they play a lot of older songs -- Hui `Ohana, Olomana -- that make me stop, drop everything, and try to hunt down the track online. Ryan HawaiiNews.com | HawaiiStories.com
