Hi! I am a cellist in Indiana who loves the singing of ISRAEL "IZ"
KAMAKAWIWO`OLE and wondered if any of his music is available in print
editions for male voice and piano (etc.). I love Hawaiian music in general
but cannot find any thing in print here.
I often play at various chamber music events and would really like to get
away from those "light classics" that have been around forever. Iz's music
would have wide appeal and I'd be happier playing them.
Music shops here in the Midwest look at me like I'm nuts when I ask if they
can order Hawaiian music. So here I am, looking for a source. Thanks for any
help you can direct me to!
