She sang the stupid song at the start of the movie called "Papa ki Paree". It was apparently about being her father's angel. I wouldn't be able to give you a comprehensive list of actors who've sung their own songs. Aamir Khan sang a song called "Aati kya khandala" in "Ghulam". Amitabh has sung many of his own numbers. From http://www.rediff.com/entertai/2001/oct/11amit.htm, I found the following: --- For someone who is not a professional singer, Amitabh has sung quite a few hit songs. Witness: Mere Angne Mein (Laawaris), Rang Barse (Silsila), Mere Paas Aao (Mr Natwarlal) and Tu Maike Mat Jaiyo (Pukar) , to name a few. --- > Love the ae, ai o song and the Hindi cultural one Wonderful > wonderful entertainment. What Hindi cultural one? I didn't think the songs were especially good at all. (I've responded to your earlier posts.) Some of the timing was quite funny - the one about the bird at the start, and "O Ajnabi" (Stranger) in the middle, especially. The "Kasam se kasam" song was less painful than many of the others, and I suppose Kareena danced all right for the "Ab kya karen dil deewani" [sic?] song in the middle. I wasn't especially thrilled of the film. I have just seen a film called "Praan jaye par shaan na jaye". I was expecting it to be really bad, but I laughed really hard through most of it, and found other parts poignant. If you're looking for good-looking Hollywood heroines, forget Kareena. Namrata Shirodkar deserves some attention, IMHO. Cheers, Aditya
