even begun, I was confused as to why they didn't subtitle the songs. As somebody who knows only a little bit of Hindi, I'm grateful for
song subtitles, though I admit that it's a bit of a mixed blessing:
they help you understand the song, certainly, but they also distract
you from the spectacle. I make it a point to watch my favourite song
sequences WITHOUT subtitles now and then, so I can actually look at
what's going on (instead of staring at the bottom third of the
