I was lucky enough to be turned on to DAVE STRINGER.
I swear..this is awesome..
it is Kirtan music...but it is the cross between
traditional Indian (from India) music...meets YOGI.
I got the CD last week..my wife completely digs it..
and was hip enough to say..'this guy sings just like YOGI'
I DIG THE SHIT OUT OF IT!!
I hear the YOGI too..
I also hear XTC...but...it is Kirtan chanting..
it is not super-duper relaxing..but it is very soothing.
it is almost like heavy-metal-kirtan...
like blending rock with Indian music.
I guess the BEATLES did that as well...if you want the most awesome
relaxing CD try it. The singing alone is worth the price tag.
I got mine from amazon. it was roughly $18
He sells them on his site..there are music samples there too.
at least check out a sample.
