The program features the renowned troupe of Pt.Satyanarayan Charka in dance sequences that feature stories from ancient Indian epics such as Ramayana and Krishna-Leela. July 12th 2003: Hindustani & Carnatic Melodies Renowned artists from the New England area - Swati Panda, Pradeep Shukla, Geeta Murali, Nitin Mitta, Durga Krishnan & Tara Anand perform in a vocal-instrumental medley that showcases the best traditions of Hindustani and Carnatic classical music. July 13th 2003: A Taste of Indian Classical Dances Watch the elegant expressions, and beautiful costumes of dancers Pallabi Sanyal, Aparna Keshaviah, Juhi Pande, and Ananya Mukhopadyaya performing the ancient dance forms of Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi and Odissi.
