Atmospheric indian style music

Hi,
Can anybody direct me to some of the 'classic' Indian music that fits
a hot morning.
I have heared it played as backgrounds to items on India on TV travel
shows etc.
Instrumental is what I am looking for - like the soundtrack to Moody
Blues - Om.
I have some Kaash - like instrumentals of this type.
Always acompanied by soft focus water buffalo and misty mountains...
Is there a name for this style - sometimes flute, sometimes orchestral
sometimes sitar - is this a Morning Raga?
Not interested in modern techno style!
