The problem with these kinds of discussions is I'm not sure whethere the OT wanted Latin music, pianists with a Latin surname that are simply jazz players, in which case such as Chick Corea would do, or whether jazz is even an important aspect of the request. But to the point of both Larry Harlow and Eddie Palmieiri: their music is unquestionably "Latin", they borrow much from jazz in a performance sense, and their playing is obviously featured, not just small "color" aspects. -- ///---
