Several months ago, there was a discussion here about a confusing lyric in Boom Boom Mancini: "When they asked him who was responsible for the death of Du Koo Kim, He said "Someone should have stopped the fight and told me it was him!" From what I recall, no one in the prior discussion came up with an interpretation that made any sense. I've been mulling it over (beats the hell out of mulling over the state of the world or what is reality). Today I was listening to the remastered SH in the car (frankly, can't really tell a difference, and I don't need no Spanish monkeys either). Suddenly, during my favourite song on that album, the light bulb went on. How about this: "When they asked him who was responsible for the death of Du Koo Kim, He said "Someone should have stopped the fight and told me. It was him!" In other words, the person responsible was the referee, Richard Greene. In the computer world, there's the old standby about misplaced periods bringing down rocket ships. Or boxers.
