Sabes La cosita?

Hi.
Just back from Havana. Apart from hearing a lot of timba and dancing a lot
of salsa I noticed this song which had all cubans singing and dancing like
crazy everytime I heard it. The main lyric kept singing about la cosita, the
song was at least partly sung by one or more women. I have found some
spanish "raggae" with the same name, and somewhat similar melody, but this
is not it.
Anyone knows what/who did this Cosita thing played in Cuba?
By the way, I heard Adalberto Alvarez in la casa de la musica (Miramar if
you must know!), and his band is definetely worth listening to in concert
these days. The music is now somewhat son/timba like Manolito, but imho they
are even better.
